A 24-year-old salinas man pleaded guilty Wednesday to vehicular manslaughter. On april 16th, Armando bautista accidentally backed over a 20-month old child in his driveway on the 16-hundred block of chico way. The young girl, joseiln Ortiz-pantalco, died from head injuries, after being taken to natividad medical center. bautista faces a maximum of 4-years in prison. He also could be deported following whatever prison or jail time he is sentenced to.
