A 36-year-old morgan hill man has been arrested on allegations of animal cruelty, following the death of a dog due to exhaustion and dehydration. Concerned neighbors near calle mazatan and calle cerro called morgan hill police on Friday, and reported seeing Antonio palomarez dragging 2-dogs as he rode a bicycle. The dogs could not walk when police officers arrived. palomarez told officers that he was exercising them. The dogs—a pitbull and a boxer—were taken to a local veterinarian. The pitbull did not recover from its high temperature, and died. The boxer was given fluids intravenously, and was returned to its owner, (who is a neighbor of palomarez).
