Beachgoers Rip currents 06/03/12 8p.m. TDH

Lifeguards in santa cruz county were kept busy on Saturday by a northwest swell that created multiple rip-currents, and left swimmers at various beaches in need of assistance.   2-boogie boarders were rescued at Manresa state beach, after being pulled away from the shore by a rip-current.  Less than an hour after that 3:20 p.m. incident, 3-swimmers had to be assisted at twin lakes beach in live oak.  And at 5 p.m., a person was aided at natural bridges state beach, after becoming stranded in a small cove when the tide came in.  No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
