3-people were injured in a car accident on highway-17 monday afternoon. Southbound lanes were closed for about an hour following the 1:45 p.m. wreck, which occurred near glenwood drive. a 28-year-old santa clara man failed to see that traffic had stopped due to roadwork, and the man slammed into another car, which in turn was pushed into a 3rd vehicle. 2-victims were hospitalized with serious injuries after the accident. They were taken to Dominican hospital, before being air-lifted to santa clara valley medical center.
