A 24-year-old man accused of a fatal hit and run of a 1-year-old girl entered a plea of not guilty wednesday. Armando bautista is facing charges of hit and run, vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and driving with a suspended license. The accident occurred Monday, in the driveway of a house on salinas’ chico way. The baby girl, 20-month old joselin Ortiz-pantalcon, was pronounced dead after being taken to natividad medical center. bautista is scheduled to return to a monterey county courtroom on april 25th.
