Monterey county sheriff’s detectives are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of tequila from a carmel valley restaurant. Deputies were called to the restaurant in carmel valley village on Sunday morning. sometime overnight Saturday, someone had broken in and stolen the tequila, which was valued at 8-thousand dollars.
