the morgan hill city council has agreed to approve a plan to spend the remaining funds from the former redevelopment agency’s 2008 bond proceeds. just under 20 million dollars remain from the bond, and the city council voted to spend it on downtown parking improvements and street improvements. a multi-level parking structure is planed for monetery road, as well as side street improvements and median work along downtown roads. a feasibility report is expected to be presented at the city council’s wednesday meeting.
