just after a plan to build a new restaurant at the watsonville airport was approved, construction on a new hangar is expected to begin soon. officials at united flight services say that the 14-thousand-500 square foot hangar will cost an estimated 600-thousand dollars. the project has been 2 years in the making, but environmental studies had slowed progress. construction on the new hangar is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
