Identity theft conviction 03/29/12 5:30p.m. TDH

A 28-year-old monterey man has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of identity theft.   Francis humes was convicted of using stolen credit cards and creating fake I.D.s over the course of several months in 2010.    The stolen credit cards were often used in santa clara county.     humes is expected to be sentenced to 10-years in prison, when he returns to a santa clara county courtroom on may 8th.
