a watsonville man was arrested last week after the car he was driving was determined to be stolen. a watsonville police officer stopped a vehicle on meadow terrace on thursday evening for a traffic violation. the officer found that the vehicle had reported stolen earlier in the day. the 3 male occupants jumped out of the car and ran away. 19 year old ernesto murillo was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. the two other suspects were not located. anyone who might have witnessed the 6:30 p.m. incident is asked to contact the watsonville police department.
