The 2012 jimmie cox memorial scholarship has been announced. Kevin Bargetto was given the award, to help him continue his education in agriculture. The scholarship, awarded by the organization agri-culture, is given annually to students interested in pursuing careers in agribusiness. kevin Bargetto is a varsity football player and a senior at scotts valley high school; he plans to study enology and viticulture at Cal-Poly san luis Obispo, so that he can return to the family business, Bargetto wineries.
