Salinas residents are invited to attend mayor dennis donahue’s state of the city address this morning. the speech is expected to include the mayor’s plan for issues the city is facing, such as gang and drug violence, and depleted city finances. representative sam farr is set to introduce the mayor at the event. the state of the city address is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the maya cinemas on main street.
