A donation from the martinelli family will help a local non-profit organization expand. “Trips for kids” is an organization based in marin, that takes at-risk juveniles on mountain bike-rides. The santa cruz county chapter was founded last year, and, (until now), the group has been operating out of a small space on main street. the martinellis have donated an 11-hundred square foot trailer to the group. the trailer is housed on the 20-acre former “birds eye property” on harvest drive. the organization takes bike rides on the 1st Saturday of the month.
