A 14-year-old boy is facing auto theft charges, after leading Watsonville police officers on a chase around the city on sunday. A parole officer called police, after noticing the teen driving erratically. police Officers attempted to pull the teenager over, but he fled. The boy was finally caught near Riverside avenue; he was booked into santa cruz county juvenile hall. Officers determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
