The california highway patrol has been awarded a grant to help keep senior citizens safe on the road. The “Keeping Everyone Safe” grant for (just-less-than-272-thousand dollars) will fund free driving courses that target seniors, as well as traffic safety booths at various community events. The grant was awarded by the national highway traffic safety administration and the California office of traffic safety.
