a monterey woman was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and other charges. a search warrant was served at the home of 35 year old aaliyah solange person after monterey police investigated an allegation that an underage female runaway was brought to monterey to be a prostitute. evidence of drug sales were also found at person’s home. she was arrested on charges of human trafficking, kidnapping with intent to extort, possession of stolen property, and transportation of marijuana for sale. the underage victim was reunited with a family member, and monterey police are looking for other victims. person was booked into monterey county jail, and has posted bail.
