Salinas police officers arrested a 21-year-old man monday morning, after the suspect led officers on a brief chase. At 9:15 a.m., Jacob rede was pulled over at north wood and Roosevelt streets for not having license- plates. He fled on foot, and was apprehended on north madiera avenue. after determining that rede was on parole, officers searched his home, and allegedly found multiple firearms. Marijuana was also allegedly found in his vehicle. Rede was booked into monterey county jail on several charges.
