A new mobile-phone application is expected to be unveiled soon, that will be specially-tailored for the city of Salinas. The “My District 3” app will allow users to report graffiti, code violations, and other infractions. The app will mark the location of the incident on G-P-S, and send a photo and an anonymous report of the graffiti to the Salinas Police department. The free app is expected to be presented at the Graffiti Task Force Meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, and will reportedly be available for download soon.
