the final stages of construction on the green technology center at cabrillo college are set to begin in the fall. the new building will house the energy management program, which involves meshing construction with green TECHNOLOGIES such as solar and energy efficiency. the new major will be an addition to cabrillo’s construction department, which offers degrees in construction management and codes and standards. the building was designed to be energy efficient and cabrillo college officials hope to earn a leadership in energy and environmental design platinum certification.
