A wild turkey crashed through the window of an aptos house early this morning. just before 1 a.m. the turkey busted in through the bathroom window, of the moosehead drive residence. Santa cruz county sheriff’s deputies were able to capture the bird, which was reportedly frightened, but not seriously injured. The turkey was taken to recover at the native animal rescue in santa cruz. It is expected to be released back into the wild as soon as it is ready.
