A 28-year-old man was arrested in scotts valley on new year’s eve. Zachary schiffman was taken into custody for a list of charges, including resisting arrest. That, after schiffman was pulled over slotmachines on highway-17 for suspected D-U-I. SChiffman tried to run from the scene, but he was caught. The carmel valley resident was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs and other, related items. Schiffman was booked into santa cruz county jail.
