a hollister spay and neuter clinic has reopened. the hays/stratton spay and neuter clinic at pet friends closed in mid-june due to a lack of funds and a part-time veterinarian to provide services. the spay and neuter clinic reopened a few weeks ago and have been offering services by appointment on fridays, and starting in mid january will offer appointments on thursdays. pet friends, which serves as a rescue shelter for dogs and cats that are available for adoption, is located on buena vista road in hollister. for more information, or to donate to the non-profit, visit online at pet friends dot org.
