a man is being sought who tried to lure a 12 year old pacific grove middle school student inside his car tuesday. the female student was walking to school near congress road and morse drive when a man in a car pulled up next to her and asked if she needed a ride. she said no but the man persisted and followed her for several blocks. she got away safely to her school but the monterey county sheriff’s office would like to warn parents of the suspect. he is described as a white man in his 50’s or 60’s with white, gray hair and an inch long scar near his nose. the man is driving a gray porsche cayenne with a dented front bumper. anyone with any information on this man’s identity is asked to contact the monterey county sheriff’s department.
