NEW CHARGE FOR SAL MURDER 12/23/11 0700 e.a.
a salinas man accused of killing his mother is now facing new charges of a probation violation. 29 year old christopher sorenson pleaded not guilty to allegations that he violated his probation when he was arrested on suspicion of murdering of his mother, janet sorenson, who disappeared december 7th. christopher sorenson is being held on 1-million dollars bail. the search for janet sorenson’s body has been expanded to san luis obispo and santa barbara counties.
