A fire broke out on Tuesday night at a surfboard glassing shop in santa cruz. The flames started when a resin container ignited. Santa cruz fire fighters were able to stop the 8:15 p.m. blaze before it spread to other structures. The shop at 815 almar avenue sustained a few thousand dollars worth of damage. No injuries were reported.
