Highway-1 was shut down briefly today near the fishhook. That after a car fire broke out around noon. The driver of the vehicle escaped safely, however the vehicle was reportedly destroyed by the flames. The fire is believed to have started by sparks that ignited clothes that were stuck underneath the vehicle.
