A 70-year-old man was rescued by Monterey county sheriff’s deputies, after falling off of a trail. The man was hiking on Garzas Creek trail in Carmel Valley, when he fell nearly 3-hundred feet down a hillside. After being reached by rescuers, the victim was airlifted to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
