Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a person, whose body was found in davenport on Sunday. A person called 911 at 5:15 p.m., to report that a person’s hand was sticking out of a truck’s camper shell. Cal-fire officials and Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies responded, and discovered the body. The truck had been parked in the area near Greyhound Rock and Highway-1 for several days. Anyone with information about the body is encouraged to contact local authorities.
