a salinas high school teacher has won an award for exceptional work as a foreign language educator. yo azama, a japanese language teacher at north salinas high school, was honored with the national language teacher of the year award at the annual american council for the teaching of foreign languages expo. the expo was held in denver, colorado over the weekend.
