Former Santa Cruz Mayor Scott Kennedy died this weekend, from health complications. Kennedy served on the city council from 1991 to 1998, and again from 2001 to 2003, serving as mayor in ’94 and 2004. In addition to his government service, Kennedy founded the Resource Center for Nonviolence of Santa Cruz. Scott Kennedy was 62 years old.
