A 19-year-old gavilan college student died this morning, 12-days after being severely injured in a car accident. Andrel gaines, who was on the college’s basketball team, had been on life support at san francisco general hospital ever since the accident, which took place on highway-101 just south of san francisco. The man who was driving when the accident occurred, billy heard, remains hospitalized with less severe injuries, while 3rd man, davontea Johnson was released from the hospital after being treated for a broken leg. The cause of the accident, is still being investigated.
