the arraignment of a santa cruz woman accused of throwing a duck has been delayed a second time. 38 year old michelle ann love was arrested last month after police received reports of an intoxicated person pulling a duck on a leash and throwing the animal to the ground. love had appeared in court 2 weeks ago to be arraigned, but the hearing was postponed by the prosecution. the hearing on friday was delayed once again based on a request by the PROSECUTORS for more time to review the case.
the duck is being held at the santa cruz county animal shelter.
