the monterey county board of supervisors has approved the alignment of a proposed parkway on the former fort ord. the 3-mile road STRETCHES from parker flats to the inter-garrison road, and is designed to reduce traffic congestion on highway 68 and imjin parkway. the plan still needs to be approved by c.s.u.m.b. and monterey peninsula college.
