Authorities have released the name of a 29-year-old driver, who is accused of causing a fatal wreck on highway-183 on sunday. Watsonville resident Melquiabez mota Gomez is accused of being drunk, when he swerved into 2-other vehicles, on highway-183 (between salinas and Castroville). 1-of the other drivers, a 43-year-old salinas man, died at the scene. Gomez is facing charges of felony D.U.I., and felony vehicular manslaughter.
