A santa cruz woman was killed in Hawaii last week, during a dispute with her boyfriend. Police on the island of maui were called to a highway near nakalele point, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The victim was found dead on some rocks below the road. Her boyfriend, (who also lives part time in santa cruz), fled from officers, and jumped off of a cliff. He was retrieved from the ocean on Friday morning. He is expected to be taken into custody when he is released from the hospital.
