Kittens can be adopted right now for a discount rate, from The Santa cruz county animal shelter. The shelter (located at 2200 7th avenue), is offering to give the felines up for adoption for half of the usual price, (which covers medical costs and a microchip). It’s now 60-dollars to adopt kittens younger than 1 year-old, 50-dollars for cats between 1 and 6, and 28-dollars for older cats. More information can be found online at sc animal shelter dot org.
