guilty plea remains 07/24/11 TDH

A former salinas man who petitioned to have his guilty plea in a manslaughter case withdrawn, has had his motion denied.  Monterey county superior court judge marla Anderson rejected all claims by dion gussner, who argued that he had received bad legal advice.  Gussner was advised by his public defender to plead guilty to the maximum 16-years, for hitting a vehicle while he was driving drunk, (killing a 4-year-old boy and injuring the boy’s mother).  gussner can appeal the decision.
