Thursday is the deadline to submit public comments on Monterey county’s proposed bicycle and pedestrian master plan. The transportation agency for Monterey county is seeking to expand a current program, that would help local businesses, schools, and others, to install bike racks and lockers. The master plan outlines long term goals to expand bicycle usage, thorough construction and other programs. Once submitted to the state, the county will be eligible for grant money.
