2-marie callendar’s restaurants on the central coast have closed, following the bankruptcy filing by the chain’s parent company, Perkins and Marie Callender’s Inc. The closure notice was issued on Sunday, to the locations in capitola and Salinas; The employees there have been laid off. 65-marie callendar’s locations around the country are set to be closed as the company re-structures. The location in morgan hill is planned to remain open.
