state assemblyman luis alejo from watsonville, has introduced a bill that would shield redevelopment agencies from being ELIMINATED. if ultimately signed into law, a.b.1250 is designed to limit the size and scope of redevelopment and provide more money to schools. governor jerry brown’s may revise budget proposes the ELIMINATION of redevelopment agencies. assemblyman alejo’s bill is awaiting a vote by the assembly rules committee.
