A wanted man was arrested today in the santa cruz mountains. 26-year-old micah felipe howard was wanted for an outstanding warrant, and was arrested at gunpoint, after he began to pull his car away from where officers had stopped it. Members of the santa cruz county gang task force discovered the outstanding warrant, before allegedly finding a stolen, gun, and methamphetamine in the car. Howard was booked into santa cruz county jail, on several charges, which carry gang-enhancements. Also arrested was 21-year-old Brittany trueblood, who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs.
