150 year old artifacts from villa de branciforte are awaiting a new home after being removed from the branciforte public library. the artifacts, which include a railroad spike and a 19th century map of villa de branciforte, were removed from the library to make room for a new teen center. the artifacts are currently in property lockup at the santa cruz police department. a permanent display site for the ARTIFACTS is under discussion by the library board and the villa de branciforte preservation society.
