hollister residents will vote today on a parcel tax for the hollister school district. the proposed tax would help balance upcoming state budget cuts and budgetary issues within the district. if approved, homeowners within the district would pay an additional 96 dollars in each of the next 4 years to the school district. the polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in hollister.
