Salinas police are investigating a suspected drive-by shooting, that occurred at a birthday party on Sunday. Dozens of people were at a house on the 3-hundred block of shires way, celebrating the birthday of a 16-year-old girl. At 1:09 a.m., as many as 5-shots were fired at the residence. The garage door and some fenceboards were struck, but no people were injured. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the salinas police department.
