the monterey county board of supervisors are scheduled to meet this morning in the first of two public hearings for 2011-2012 budget. Supervisors are looking at a total budget of 953-million dollars, with over 31-million dollars in reductions. that public hearing is slated for 9 a.m. today at the board of supervisors chambers at 168 west alisal street in salinas.
