a new gym at e.a. hall middle school in watsonville is nearing completion. officials have announced that the new 83-hundred square-foot gym is about two weeks away from opening. the new gym houses restrooms, storage rooms and a full size gym with a maple floor. the CONSTRUCTION of the new gym comes after the original gym sustained major damage in a fire in 1997. the original gym will remain in use along side the new structure.
