a hollister woman accused of killing her 19-month old daughter has been ruled competent to stand trial. cheryl busch is accused of shooting and killing her daughter in november of 2008. busch spent nearly 9 months in a state mental hospital when she was deemed mentally capable to stand trial. a san benito county judge ruled her competent after a hearing last week. if convicted of homicide, she would face 25 years to life in prison.
