a pipe bomb was found along the salinas river on monday. a california fish and game warden found the explosive around 4 p.m. the monterey county sheriff’s office bomb squad was immediately DISPATCHED and rendered the device safe. blanco road between cooper road and RESERVATION road was closed about 15 minutes during the procedure.
