the sentencing hearing was delayed this week, for 2-men who pleaded guilty in march, to being accessories to murder. juan nunez and julio montoya are part of a group of 4-men, who shot and killed jose manuel perez in august of 2009. perez was a student at salinas high school; he was gunned down on the 5-hundred block of terrace street, as he was on his was to football practice. nunez and montoya are now set to be sentenced on october 28th, for their role in the murder. 1-of the other suspects has already been sentenced to 25-years to life, while the gunman, is set to go to trial in october.
