A fuel tanker crashed this afternoon on highway-101 near soledad. The wreck caused the fuel tank to crack, and spill its load of diesel fuel onto the highway. 1-northbound lane near arroyo seco road was shut down briefly while crews worked to clear the wreckage. the cause is still being investigated.
